• Epistaxis Balloon Catheter is designed for fast control of intra-nasal bleeding and patient comfort. Ideal for nasal packing for Septoplastly, Rhinoplastly and Intra-nasal surgical procedure. Inflatable flexible balloon provides direct uniform pressure. Beveled posterior tip & soft silicone construction allow for easy placement & prevents adhesion for easy removal. Airway channel design allows nasal breathing.
• In Intra-pack larger balloon can be inflated up to 30 CC to control anterior nasal bleeding.
• In Post-pack smaller balloon can be inflated up to 10 CC to control posterior nasal bleeding.
• In Double Balloon Catheter two balloons independently filled facilities pressure control in both the anterior and posterior nasal bleeding.

  • Product Info

    • Double Balloon Catheters:

      These have two independently inflatable balloons, typically a smaller balloon for the posterior chamber (10cc) and a larger balloon for the anterior chamber (30cc). 

    • Single Balloon Catheters:

      Some catheters have a single balloon that can be inflated to control bleeding in either the anterior or posterior nasal cavity, depending on the design. 

    • Catheters with or without Syringe:

      Some catheters come with a syringe for inflating the balloon, while others do not, requiring an external syringe to inflate the balloon. 

  • Materials and Construction

    • Silicone:

                     Many catheters are made of soft, medical-grade silicone for                         patient comfort and easy placement.

    • Beveled Tip:

      The posterior tip of the catheter is often beveled for easier insertion and to reduce the risk of adhesion.

    • Airway Tube:

      Some catheters have an integral airway tube that allows for nasal breathing while the balloons are inflated.
